Through portfolio managers Huxton Black we’re delivering all the benefits of the digital world with a personal touch at a surprisingly low fee. Through our fee for service solution our advice is not tainted by any commission bias or hidden fees. As an independent firm, we have no sales quotas or corporate agenda and can instead focus on putting our clients’ interests first.

30 years in the Financial industry and I still enjoy it! While much has changed with technology, the core remains the same….it’s about relationships! And I truly enjoy that!
All work and no play…yes, I love to race my sailboat, ride my motorcycle with my son and dirty every pot and pan cooking with my daughter!

Karen
Karen has worked in the financial industry for almost 20 years and has been helping clients manage and grow their wealth for more than a decade. In fact, she has been a student of wealth management all her life: growing up with her financial planner father who passed on his money wisdom to her from a young age.
Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UBC and has both her Certified Financial Planner and Registered Retirement Consultant designations. After over a decade working with a large wealth management corporation, Karen chose to open an independent firm with her partner Grenville to offer more low cost options with the same great service their clients know well.
When not in the office, you can find Karen with her husband and two kids camping or at the ski hill.
